Important Information about my products and service.
***From the 13th December 2024, I am no longer able to post my products (with the exception of PDF products) to Northern Ireland or the EU. This is due to the new EU regulations which are not compatible to my small business. I truly hope that these regulations will change in the future. Please do not order from me if the delivery address is in Northern Ireland or the EU. ***
All my products are made to order and therefore during busy times, production can slow down a little. If your order is going to take me longer than my usual 3-5 working days to complete, I will let you know.
All my orders are sent 2nd class Royal Mail (unless their value requires me to send them Special Delivery i.e over £50) which can take between 3-4 working days to arrive within the UK. If you require your order to arrive in time for a specific date e.g a birthday, please let me know and I will try my best to prioritise your order.
I DO NOT operate an Amazon-like service so please do not expect your order 'next day delivery'.
Kits
Due to high demand for this product, your kit may take up to three weeks to be dispatched. If you require it sooner, please drop me a line at dearemma@hotmail.co.uk
Workshop Bookings
Once you have booked a workshop place with me I will send you confirmation and any additional information that you will need before the day.
Fabric and colours used. Other than my printed pieces, all my products are made using a combination of high quality old and new fabric which I source from my local independent fabric shops. I cannot guarantee that the product you receive will be exactly the same as the one you see on my website. This is due to the use of patterned fabric which does alter from the manufacturers from time to time and is especially the case when vintage fabric is used. It is often a one-off piece which is no longer in production. However I will always try to make it as similar as possible and I never compromise on fabric quality. I will always use a similar combination of colours to that seen on my website and will contact you if this is not possible. If you enjoy the way I combine colours, I'm sure you will not be disappointed in what I make for you. This is what makes hand crafted products special.
My printed fabric products include my lanterns and my street scene lampshades (large and small). These products are made from a print of the original textile art. I use printed fabric on these products to allow better light penetration.
Greeting Cards - These are a print of the original textile art.
Caring for my products.
The mix of fabrics used in my embroidered products means that they should be washed by hand with great care in cool water. The cosies should not be wrung or turned inside out and should be dried flat. If ironing is required please protect the embroidery with a thin piece of fabric before applying a moderate ironing temperature.
