Lantern - Long-Tailed Tit Bird On Seed Head

My Long-Tailed Tit design was inspired by my work with Bug Art cards. I felt that the proportions of this design would really suit the dimensions of a lantern.

This design features a baby Long-tailed Tit perched on a seed head stem and is surrounded by little pink flowers.

Once lit with a tea-light (I use battery operated LED tea lights) they provide a lovely glow but also look equally pleasing un-lit.

All my lantern designs are prints taken from my original embroideries and are printed onto unbleached linen and highlighted, in places with free-motion machine embroidery.

Important bit - This lantern has been designed to be used with BATTERY OPERATED TEA/FAIRY LIGHTS or USB fairy lights. There is a little hole in the lower portion of the lantern to feed your lights through if using  USB fairy lights.

Dimensions are 20cm x 10cm dia.

The lantern is fitted with a translucent base and a tea light holder.
